Quarto edition in six volumes, illustrated with hundreds of brightly colored lithographs throughout, individual plates not counted, without obvious signs of plate loss or removal from the set, bound in contemporary three-quarter red morocco, tooled in gold, a.e.g., bookplate of Shepherd Brooks (1837-1922) pasted inside the front board of each volume; spines a bit stiff, some marginal damp stains to gutters of preliminaries in some volumes, plates generally unaffected, 8 3/4 x 7 1/2 x 11 in.
