Sainte Bible, Contenant l'Ancien et le Nouveau Testament, Traduite en François. Paris: Desprez, 1776. Three octavo volumes, ex libris the Russian Imperial Library at Tsarskoe-Selo, with the stamp, which reads, "Bibliotheque de Tsarskoe Selo," on the half-titles, and a ticket from the Russian Imperial Exhibit pasted on the ffep in each volume, Lord & Taylor hosted the Hammer Galleries' sale of Imperial Russian material in New York in the 1930s; the volumes bound in uniform contemporary speckled calfskin, head compartment of each discolored, with loss of leather, green labels, endcaps mostly chipped away.
