After Professor Otto Poertzel (German, 1876-1963) Cold-painted Bronze of a Page Boy with a Casket, cast with cape flowing behind him, an ivory feather in his cap, and an ivory casket clutched in both hands, raised on a marble base, bronze signed "Prof. O. Poertzel" and stamped "GERMAN," bronze ht. 8 7/8 in. Slight rubbing to polychrome area. Bronze figure and base joint loose. Scattered slight shrinkage cracks to ivory. Small nicks to bronze along edges of cloak.
