Twelve Worcester Porcelain Jabberwocky Pattern Saucer Dishes, England, c. 1780, each dish polychrome-enameled, parcel-gilded, and with scalloped rim, in the later simplified version of the pattern, the mythical creature backed by a flowering branch and centering a Rococo turquoise border with diaperwork and foliage, one with blue overglaze fret mark, the others unmarked, dia. 7 3/4 in. All with very light surface abrasions/usage wear and scattered rubbing/loss to gilt and enamel. Two with several small foot rim chips. One with 3/4 in. rim chip. One with 1/2 in. rim chip. One with a matrix of fine hairline cracks to center. Seven with no damage beyond usage wear and slight loss to gilt and enamel.
