Russian Icon Depicting the April Minyeia, late 19th century, showing the saints for each day of the calendar month in four rows, all labeled on a gilt background framed by an abstract pattern, 14 x 12 1/8 in. Small areas of flaking to paint in some areas. Panel with nicks to the edges with small areas of associated paint loss. Several small vertical cracks with associated craquelure to painted surface. Back panel with some surface abrasions and one short vertical crack.
