Frank Lobdell (American, b. 1921) Untitled , 1970 Signed and dated "L 70" in pencil l.c., identified on a label from Martha Jackson Gallery, New York, with an envelope inscribed with the artist's address affixed to the backing. Gouache and ink on paper, 11 x 17 in. (27.9 x 43.2 cm), framed. Condition: Minor rippling, not examined out of frame. Provenance: A private Massachusetts collection. N.B. The original invoice from Martha Jackson Gallery and newspaper clippings accompany the lot.
