(25.4 x 45.7 cm), framed. Condition: Craquelure, minor surface grime. Provenance: By descent within the family of Dr. Gerrit P. Judd, Oahu. N.B. In the 1850s King Kamehameha granted lands on Oahu to Dr. Gerrit P. Judd, one of his ministers. The view shown here depicts that land as painted by the Judds' family friend, artist David Howard Hitchcock.
