Literature: Colonial Massachusetts Silversmiths and Jewelers, by Patricia E. Kane et al. (New Haven, Connecticut: Yale University Art Gallery, 1998), p. 795, the spoons bear Paul Revere, Jr.'s maker's mark similar to examples C and D; see p. 833 which lists two tablespoons with the engraved monograms "AH" and referenced by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, in 1906, no. 266 and 267.
