Williams Commander, Smyrna Jan'y 7th 1833." Gouache on paper, 17 x 22 1/8 in., in a later molded and painted wood frame. Condition: Laid down onto thin card, minor foxing, scattered retouch to spots around the edges and abrasions in background sky.
