After George Morland (British, 1763-1804) Sow with Piglets Partial signature "S Will" c. r., indistinct signature l.r. Oil on panel, 9 1/2 x 11 5/8 in. (24.0 x 29.7 cm), framed. Condition: Retouch, fine horizontal surface cracks and slight bowing to panel, scattered paint losses and abrasions. N.B. Painted in the style of George Morland, the work at hand appears to have been trimmed along the right side, cropping the signature, which is located at the base of the fencing on the right.
