Set of Six Federal Mahogany Inlaid Shield-back Dining Chairs, probably Massachusetts, c. 1795, the beaded backs with arched crests containing five shaped spindles converging at inlaid fans on flanking shaped styles, overupholstered serpentine seats, square tapering molded legs joined by stretchers, together with two later matching armchairs, old surface, ht. 38 3/4, seat ht. 17 1/2 in.
