Two Bakelite Reverse Carved and Painted Bangles, the first with red flowers, the second with stripes in orange, brown, yellow, and black, interior circumference 7 3/4 and 7 1/2 in. (some paint loss) Note: Lots 421 to 543 come from the collection of Corinne "Corky" Davidov. Ms. Davidov co-authored "The Bakelite Jewelry Book" (1988) with Ginny Redington Dawes. Many lots in the collection are pictured in the book. Ms. Davidov also co-authored "The Victorian Jewelry Book" (1990) and is currently a writer for Lucire, a global fashion magazine. This collection was amassed over twenty years beginning with a few pieces owned by her mother.
