Four Mechanical Valentines, c. 1860s, each features a pull-tab that causes the character to move, a lady exiting a carriage, marked "Dean & Son," a gentleman moving his arms and legs, a naughty lady lifting her skirt, and a man shaving, plus a card depicting a cozy cottage with an idyllic verse about married bliss, lifting the card reveals the future chaos, size to 5 1/2 x 9 1/2 in., (some surface wear and soiling).
