Large Lot of Tynietoy Archival Material, including original artwork and drawings made by the Tynietoy Company which was based in Providence, Rhode Island, from the 1920s-1940s, The renderings are primarily for making dollhouse furniture and accessories. Some of the furniture made by Tynietoy is shown with scale drawings as well as photos of antique furniture that served as inspiration or was copied in miniature. There are articles reprinted from magazines about Tynietoy, lists of Tynietoy for sale, many original catalogs, photographs, newspaper articles, artwork for painting the furniture, as well as original artwork for maps (Nantucket and Bermuda), lamp shades, blueprints of furniture, detailed drawings of Spanish furniture, blueprints for custom work and houses including the New England Town House; a folder of measurements of windows and doors, drawings of turned legs, newsletters from the Tynietoy Preservation Society and numerous other documents, (most of the papers are intact but fragile due to age).
