Early Bisque Swivel Neck German Lady Doll, c. 1880s, blue lined paperweight eyes, closed mouth in suggestion of smile, red line between lips, poured "oily" bisque, rosy cheek coloring, finely-lined eyebrows, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, swivel neck on shoulder plate with matching finish (tiny chip at neck of plate), cloth body, kid arms (probably replacements), fine old cotton undergarments, period red and white printed two-piece outfit, red stockings, brown leather medium-high two-button heeled boots, ht. 19 1/2 in.
