Joslin's New Solar Telluric Globe, by Gilman Joslin, Boston , the 6-inch Terrestrial Globe with twelve colored gores, Improved Analemma and brass meridian ring, revolving with arrow pointer and geared-mount around an oxidised brass sun ball, on foliate cast-iron stand with day ring showing calendar and houses of the Zodiac, overall diam. 9 1/2 in., (foxing and wear to paper calendar, damage to three of the gores).
