Livio De Marchi (Italian, 20th Century) Golf Set Incised signature "Livio De Marchi" on upper portion of bag. Pine and hardwood, 41 1/2 x 17 x 12 in., assembled (ht. of bag without clubs 35 in.) Condition: Good. N.B. De Marchi is known for his meticulous life-like carvings in wood, which he leaves unpainted to showcase the grain and knots. Most of his sculptures, like Golf Set , are done to scale, and his catalogue raisonne includes such monumental works as a floating Fiat Topolino, a Ferrari F50, a Volkswagen Beetle, and several fully furnished homes.
