Early Scandinavian Design Armchair and Footstool Teak, leather Probably Denmark, c. 1955 Black leather seat back and seat cushion with arched crest and curving armrests, on turned legs with shaped front, back, and side stretchers, approx. ht. 36; the footstool with a black leather sling top on turned legs joined by an H-stretcher, wear to leather, tear to seat, ht. 20 1/2 in. Provenance: Purchased in Denmark between 1950 and 1965; then by descent.
