Small French 18kt Gold Box, eagle mark to right side of lid, Hippocrates and maker's mark, possibly "LF" or "LP" to right inside lip, numbered "390" to left inside lip, with engraved foliate scrollwork decoration to lid and base, heraldic motif to center with engraved motto "Praesto Semper Patriae Servire," and overall textured pattern to body, ht. 3/4, lg. 3 1/4, wd. 1 7/8 in., total 80.5 dwt.
