Plain White-glazed Bowl, China, 16th century or later, conical shape with a rim gently curving inward, thickly potted with bluish-white glaze, making a characteristic high ping sound, the concave, round interior well with incised ring around it, the rim partially glazed, the exterior glaze ending near the bottom, the foot unglazed, dia. 5 7/8 in.
