Ivory Tusk Carving, China, 19th century, with dragons amongst clouds in the upper half and a variety of birds with flowers and water plants in the bottom, carved in relief from deep to shallow, the rim is rounded and decorated with two dragons in relief, fixed onto a carved wood stand, ht. 11 5/8 in. Provenance: A small New England museum.
