Folding Horseshoe-back Armchair, China, 19th/20th century, the back splat with an openwork reserve depicting a qilin amidst ruyi and gourds, the upper ruyi -shaped cartouche pierced with a chilong , the crest rail with out-swept terminals and metal hardware, above shaped spandrels carved with chilong , the footrest with metal mounts in the form of a central coin flanked by lozenges, 41 x 22 x 27 1/2 in.
