Hopilliart & Leroy (French, late 19th/ early 20th century). Large rectangular vertically-aligned wooden overmantel mirror painted black with parcel gilt classical decoration, the gilt cornice surmounting cascading olive branches tied by a classical ribbon over a molded panel framed by egg and dart molding with high relief carved rose garland swags and ribbon from which a flower carved ring hangs surrounding a quiver of arrows with a pair of arrows in background and trailing vines, surmounting two acanthus finials, over an oval cartouche framing carved roses tied by a classical ribbon over flanking olive branches above the lower panel comprising the rectangular looking glass within an acanthus leaf gadrooned frame with cavetto site and beaded course, resting on a molded base, the sides of the mirror frame flanked by swags each decorated with flower carved rings and arrows, a quiver crossed by cluster of arrows, and hat crossed by cattail and two arrows, all terminating from classical ribbons. Stenciled text on verso of mirror "Hopilliart & Leroy/Paris". Overall approximate height 71", width 46".
