Massin Flintlock Pistols, c. 1740-50, carved walnut-burl stocks with ornate brass fittings, lockplates have remnants of gilt around cherubs and foliate designs, engraved barrels also have a cherub and foliate designs, both marked G. Massin with some remaining gilt finish, bone nosecaps, and wooden ramrods with horn tips, barrel lg. 9 3/4, overall lg. 17 in.
